Finalists at the B&LLA Licensing Awards 2023
We are thrilled to be nominated in the Best Brand Licensed Health & Beauty Product category at B&LLA’s 7th annual awards, for not only one, but three of our Read My Lips ranges. Our Read My Lips Fruit-tella range, Read My Lips PepsiCo range and Read My Lips Reese’s range, have all made it to the finals. ‘We’re so excited to have been nominated as finalists 3 times at the B&LLAs this year! Working on the product development for these ranges is a dream, and we’re honoured to be amongst so many fantastic companies within the Best Licensed Health and Beauty Range category,’ says Bizzie Kingham, our Licensing & NPD Manager. These industry awards are said to showcase product innovation, brand licensing management as well as retail execution, so it is incredibly rewarding to see our brand specialist knowledge and licensing expertise being recognised by B&LLA’s.
Our range of Pepsi licensed products spans across bath fizzers and lip balms – with amazing success achieved with our lip balms at Primark, we also developed a unique offering of a Pepsi Cherry scented bath fizzer for Boots Christmas stocking fillers. With over 300,000 sales on just one line alone, the range has been an enormous success.
Our Read My Lips Fruit-tella range of lip balms achieved momentous success, particularly with fashion retailer Primark, and surpassed 2022 sales forecasts with one lip balm making its way through the tills every 90 seconds!
As the no.1 fastest growing chocolate brand within the UK, we wanted to expand on Reese’s growing popularity by introducing the unique mix of chocolate and peanut butter within the cosmetics world. The range launched at Boots as part of their Christmas gifting in August 2022 and gained an extensive amount of PR coverage including print, online and influencers who frequently featured the lip balm as the perfect stocking filler present for Reese’s fans.
We are delighted to be announced as finalists for three of our Read My Lips ranges and look forward to catching up with our licensing and retail partners on the 27th April in London at the B&LLAs awards.
